From the time I was about 4 years old my brothers and I would be in the kitchen with my Grandma DeGeorge, who hardly spoke a word of English, helping her cook while my mother was at work. I have tried hard to translate her … little bit of this and a pinch of that instructions into recipies that would make her proud… after 65 years of trying I don’t think I will ever do her justice … but these are the one’s I’ve enjoyed the most through the years and make me think of her every time I taste them.
